OCTANT Aviation is frequently entrusted for mandates to assess the impacts of the construction of energy infrastructure near airports. A typical mandate of this type includes: 1) assessment of approaches 2) identification of obstacle limitation surfaces (OLS) according to approach design standards and the most recent edition of TP-312 Aerodrome Standards and Recommended Practices. 3) a regulatory review for the marking of future equipment. To carry out this type of mandate, OCTANT Aviation has joined forces with IDS North America, an instrument approach design company recognized by Nav Canada, as well as an engineering firm.
