HUMAN AND ORGANIZATIONAL FACTORS
As mandated under the Canadian Aviation Regulations, subsection 302.07 (1) (g), the course meets the requirements for initial safety-related training on human and organizational factors. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to identify how human and organizational factors can affect performance and safety in an airport’s operational environment.
Goals
Upon completion of this training, the airport employee will be able to:
- identify situations that may generate errors, understand their origin and improve their awareness,
- identify and act on factors contributing to events during investigations and risk analysis and understand how factors in their work context influence safety,
- understand the situations that lead to human error and their consequences within organizations
