Safety Management Systems (SMS)

This course covers the various elements of the Safety Management System (SMS) framework as defined by Transport Canada and in compliance with all applicable legislative requirements. Participants will gain a better understanding of SMS and become familiar with the principles for establishing and maintaining an effective SMS program. Course topics include the regulatory and SMS frameworks, human and organizational factors, safety investigation and risk assessments methods, and quality assurance.
