In an effort to reduce costs and improve the quality and timeliness of its medical transport service, a healthcare organization commissioned OCTANT Aviation in 2015 with the development of a new air transport service. OCTANT Aviation developed a business plan based on analysis of customer needs and transportation costs, then advised the customer in contract negotiations with the service provider. A few months later, OCTANT Aviation launched an innovative air shuttle project between the Cree communities of James Bay and the medical centers in the south of the province. In addition to providing faster and more efficient service, the OCTANT Aviation operational centre enables its client to achieve substantial savings. OCTANT Aviation offers patients and their relatives, as well as medical and administrative personnel, an exclusive reservation and charter service 7 days a week, as well as a 24/7 medical evacuation service.
